Markus Blackwood is a renound thief in the Riasune territory and has made a name for himself as The Raven. The Council of Riasune wants him captured and made an example via public execution. 

Alex Fawcett is the son of the commander of the guard and is expected to help hunt down and capture this thief. Everything seems so easy, so black and white, until he meets the thief and gets a peek of his life and the motivation behind his work. 

Things aren't so clear anymore when he falls in love. On top of everything, on top of being the son expected to take over his father's job, on top of his lover being a thief, same sex relationships are frowned upon and a punishable offense. But despite everything, love is hard to reason with.
