Ablus Severus Potter has just started Hogwarts, and nothing seems to be going quite according to plan, from the Sorting to his new friendships to his classes. His brother is either driving him up a wall or nearly getting himself expelled with his stupid jokes. And just as Albus starts to settle in, a sickness slowly starts to worm its way in, a sickness not seen since the 1200s: the Scarlet Death, a Wizarding equivalent to the Black Death. The disease slowly strips its victims of its magic, leaving them weak and helpless. And it's turning the school into a hospital. The source of the disease is a dragon, the descendant of the original, and the only way to stop the sickness and cure the victims is to kill the dragon - easier said than done. Albus's friends, classmates, and even his family are falling ill before his eyes - and if he can't stop the sickness, it will spread past Hogwarts and destroy the magical community forever.All Rights Reserved
