The Lovers

Certain ideologies believed that an illness is a curse, only to bring despair and sufferings. The pain slowly induced the victim to severe torture, messing with their mental state and destroying their beauty. Without a cure, the illness reign over the people and hover as a devilish dark clouds.

To others, an illness is a blessing. Through the pain the victim had to bear, their sins were forgiven. Once the illness were cured, the victim was reborn with a second chance.

The plague on the Surface shows no mercy. It claims the lives of young and old, of the rich and poor. Doctors and herbalists were challenged to sought for a cure. Desperation drove some into practicing black magic and forbidden witchcrafts.

Asayah stepped forth to accept the challenge in finding the cure to save the people of the Surface from the plague. She spent day and night to study every herbs and potions to be used as the cure. An unexpected meeting with a fellow sorcerer named Azrael opened the doors to a new world, far greater than mortal medicine... the world of magic!
