Zelda is a lonely junior at Hyrule High School, and she is constantly a victim of Ganondorf and his gang's bullying. 

Link is a popular basketball player who everyone wants to be friends with. He didn't even know Zelda existed until they were in the same biology group. 

When Link notices Ganondorf's awful treatment of Zelda, will he become the knight in shining armor she's been waiting for?

(This story is rated Mature because SA will be mentioned along with some suggestive language and content.) --- Zelda and her Father, Mayor Rhoam, live in a giant mansion in the middle of Hyrule. Zelda is entering her senior year of high school and is preparing to move on to her college life. She does love school, and she hates when people distract her from her school work. Her high school, Hyrule High, is the only high school throughout Hyrule, so every teen across Hyrule goes there. In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with her best friends, Impa and Purah. She doesn't have that many friends, but who knows, maybe she'll find some new ones, and maybe someone who's more than a friend. ;) But enough explaining, Let's Dive Into The Story!! Hope you guys enjoy!! :) 💜 I will post new chapters when ever I can (so please be patient), and if you have suggestions about what could happen, just let me know in the comments. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. What if, when Zelda and Link were plummeting into the depths together, Link had just managed to grab Zelda's hand? This is that story. Now, both Zelda and Link are stuck in the past, in a world very different from their own, trying to find their way home. Tensions are rising at court as Ganondorf takes power, and Zelda can't deny that she has feelings for her best friend and only tether to the world she once knew. Will they both make it out alive? Disclaimers- The main characters in this story belong to Nintendo, they are not mine. There might be some totk spoilers, so be warned! One year ago, Link defeated Ganon, freeing Zelda and saving Hyrule. After not having seen Link in many months, they are finally reunited at Zelda's coronation on her 18th birthday. The circumstances of their meeting, however, are not what either of them imagined. This story takes places between the end of the botw story line and the beginning of the totk story line, and tells the story of what happened in that time. Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it!
