I can talk to ghosts. Not in the really weird ways, like with Ouija boards or conjuring spells. I can actually talk to them, and see them, like how I can talk to and see my friend Markus in the flesh who comes by once a day to see me in the mental institution my parents put me in. My friend Markus believed me when I first told him, treated it like it was a completely normal thing. My parents, not so much. It all started when my sister passed away when I was 10. She wasn't sick or anything, just a terrible accident that killed her on the way to the hospital. I've been here a rough 7 years and they only have one more before they have to let me go. I can still see and talk to ghosts like I've always been able to since I was 10. I hope they can't make them go away. Besides Markus, they're the only beings I can trust.

As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them...
