Dr. Grundy was a very intelligent man. He was the one responsible for the vaccine that saved everyone in the city from the dark plague. He had become very wealthy and very respected in the community. While it was difficult to put a finger on just what it was, something had changed him. Was it simply greed or were his motives pure as he constantly expressed as he was being held in the Sorbanty Prision-the place they put all the people who were considered a huge threat. Whatever the case, on that day, he changed the lives of many people. Including mine. My life would never be the same again. Allow me to explain.

The adults of Wool's Orphanage were completely wrapped around Harrison Peverell's fingers. They cherished him, dotted on him, gave him extra of everything, even when the Orphanage already had so little. What they didn't know was that Harrison Peverell wasn't just a boy. He was a boy that got memories of his past life, everyday, through his dreams. Harrison Peverell was the Master of Death, only, he doesn't know until the day he remembers that he is, which is about 17 years into his second life. Death is patient with almost everything, but he desperately wants to meet his Master, face to face. So, turn that 17 years into 5 years. ¤¤¤¤¤ Tom Riddle, two years older than Harrison Peverell, was hated and feared at Wool's Orphanage. The only person that didn't hate or fear him was Harrison, who insisted on being called Harry. Tom didn't know what drew him to Harry, he didn't know why he was so fascinated by the way his jewel like eyes shined with a sharp cunning that no 5-year-old should have, so he avoided Harrison. He did this for a year, but Harry refused to be ignored. At age six, Harrison Peverell got the future Dark Lord wrapped tightly around his finger with a simple sentence. "If you are what is considered to be a freak, than I would rather be with you than be normal and accepted." ¤¤¤¤¤ This is a Tomarry Fanfic. It features boyxboy. Don't like, Don't read. The human population increased from 1 billion to 7.8 billion between 1800 and 2020 because of sewage treatment, clean drinking water, vitamins, vaccines and antibiotics. In the USA in 1800, 46% of babies died before their fifth birthday; in 2020 less than 1% died. (Breastfeeding babies up to 12 months should be given 400 IU of vitamin D per day; 600 IU thereafter). In 1536, Jacques Cartier's crew were cured of scurvy with a tea made from the arbor vitae tree's needles (which have 50 mg of vitamin C per 100g). In 1796, Dr.E.Jenner developed a smallpox vaccine from cowpox. In 1812, When Napoleon invaded Russia only 40,000 soldiers survived a typhus epidemic; over 400,000 died. Between1848 and 1870, life expectancy in Liverpool, England, increased from 19 years to 40 years because of the new sewage system. In 1854, Dr. J. Snow identified a public well as the source of a cholera outbreak in London. In 1865, J.Lister applied a carbolic acid solution, to a boy's broken leg and was amazed when the leg bones fused back together without gangrene. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).

Born as an outsider, (Y/N) was born right on the southeastern border of the Empire in a large town. But with no family or friends, he grew up as homeless orphan, doing whatever to survive. This eventually lead to him fleeing his homeland and living a life in the wilderness with nothing but rags for clothes, a silver urn, and an Imperial Arms with enough power to cause an apocalypse all on its own. This lasted for a few years before he managed to stumble into the Empire's Capital, AKA the Imperial Capital. His first few months weren't much different his earliest days back in his homeland aside that the Empire was much larger and he was much older, larger, wiser and powerful. Without much of an option, (Y/N) quickly turned to a life of criminal activity, leeching off the more corrupt members of society. This would end up in a lot of deaths and the attention of something more than just one man, the Imperial Army. One fateful encounter with an Imperial Officer lead to his capture and being taken into custody. One conversation with the Empire's Minister later and he now served for the Imperial Army directly under the Minister as the "Right Hand Man". After a few months of service, (Y/N) quickly saw that not only the Army was corrupt, but the Empire as a whole. The monsters that people feared most didn't live in the wilderness, but were disguised as people. One day, (Y/N) made a vow: To bring the Revolution. And he would do by any means necessary. However, two things will complicate this process. Night Raid, a group of revolutionary assassins who serve the people and have the same ultimate goal as (Y/N). Esdeath, a general who hails from the northern frontier and is proclaimed as the Empire's Strongest. But (Y/N) didn't expect this to be an easy road. Nothing in his life had ever come easy. But with his goal in mind, his mentality became simple. Anyone that stood in his way will Fade To Black.

Everything about him was poisonous, his looks, his power and, most of all, his magic. And yet, she knew she would never want him to change, because, for her, he was perfect just the way he was, with this emotionless, dangerous, intoxicating way of doing magic. If you had asked her whether this was a love story she would have told you that she knew he wasn't capable of loving and he knew she wasn't going to try and change him. And yet, if you had asked her whether this was a love story she would have told you that the answer depends on what you expect. She knew that he couldn't love, she accepted that he didn't care, but she would die to make him understand.
