It all happens when Thea finds about mom's secret: she has sisters -- three of them -- and a reading has been set up. 
But what does this all mean? 
To Thea, this gives her a strange confusion. What does a reading mean? But she soon learns that 'her sisters' are psychics.. And she doesn't believe in psychics or religious folklore. She believes in science. But she learns that she is a psychic as well and a very powerful one that could unravel the mystery of the Black Killer, a notorious killer that kills older men in the age range of 40-55, and stop the madness that the Black Killer caused on earth and through out all of America. 
Soon the whole world is in danger and it up to Thea to stop it.
