Revelation

After climate change made an irreversible imprint on the planet, Maya Lacey finds herself blessed by her circumstances. However, she's been burdened by watching her family and once-girlfriend die before her, and later finds herself assuming responsibility of a gang of survivors. She and her people must survive worsening weather, starvation, thirst, and rival bands of survivors in order to reach the 'prophecized' 'promise land' down south, all while watching the rest of the world burn behind her.
