17 year old Joanne Carter or "Joyi" has never had a boyfriend, she's never even had her first kiss. One of the main reasons is that she's afraid of boys. Her older sister Alice has had enough romance complications to scar Joyi for life. When Alice breaks up with her third serious boyfriend Joyi decides to start a journal. But not any ordinary journal, a book of faults. All of the things wrong with her inhabit a 160 page book. Until Matthew Hennes, a new boy at school, becomes interested in Joyi. Then of all of her fears about boys come true. Well until Matthew finds the fault book. Will Matthew accept Joyi for who she is? Or will he leave her to suffer through her insecurities?
