She hugged her waist, staring at the ground. The wind blowed her long brown hair in different directions, messing it up. She was sitting on the swingset at the old park, next to her boyfriend. She had called to meet him there. There was silence for at least ten minutes, before she finally spoke.

"I'm infertile." Her voice held an almost hollow tone, as tears prickled at her bright green eyes, not for the first time. "Ill never be a mother...." Hot tears streamed down her face as the words left her mouth. Her boyfriend got off his swing. She felt his arms wrap around her lovingly, Warming her in the crisp fall air.

That was the day Alexandria's hopes for a future broke, and her dreams shattered. What starts as a regular checkup, leads to a heartwrenching journey. One in which she has to face her worst fears. Will she gain something, as she looses another? Or will she give up to the sadness?
