One Year // Jonah Marais

Hollister Ray and Jonah Marais have been friends since sophomore year in Stillwater, Minnesota. Unlikely friends, that is. Jonah is more of a "lie low, in the background" sort of guy. He get's straight A's and in his spare time, you can find him at the gym, working out with his friends (Michael, Nate, Seth), plying the guitar and singing, or at the baseball diamond. His life and family are great. He couldn't think of a better way to spend his Stillwater High Years.

Holli, on the other hand, is an "always in the spotlight" girl at school because of the lack of attention at home. She is what you would call a "B/C honor roll" kinda gal, until she actually tries. In her spare time, you can find her sleeping around, caring about what everyone else thinks, hiding from home, or being the one place she claims to despise, and makes sure everyone knows she hates it.

When seeing the stunning shawty at the place she "couldn't care less about" Jonah decides to look passed her hypocrisy and try to get to know the beautiful girl. Just as Holli lets down her walls, a life altering decision is made and changes their world forever. That is, whatever's left of "Their World."

"Please, baby. Just give me one chance. Just one! I didn't mean any of it." Jonah pleaded to me.
"Jonah, I don't know if I can, if we can."
