Kouanto could not bring herself to meet his gaze.

"I don't think it's fair to fight against them without a reason..." Her voice was broken glass.

"There IS a reason", the blue-eyed began his lecturing, "...and that is, we ALWAYS follow our superiors"

"No!", she protested, "We need to use logic and critical thought. We have to use our brains. We shouldn't let ourselves be manipulated by others. We aren't utensils!"
