I originally started this story as a submission to the @ScienceFiction #scifiholiday contest. I didn't finish it it time to qualify, but it seemed promising enough to finish.

After being convicted of a murder she didnt commit alita is left stranded on the hostile world filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty monsters. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. The only issue being is the last thing he wants is a pathetic, weak human girl following him around. (Limited time only read!) A Goddess spreading fear and evil and death in the forest around Polis, and thus, a Goddess that Lexa, as the Heda, is bound to despise. When her people follow up, an army of Gods stands against Lexa and although she goes to war against them, a third enemy soon appears that forces Lexa to form an alliance. That is shameful enough, but if only there wasn't Clarke, Skaikru's leader and thus the woman Lexa has to share a tent with, share a bed with, share parts of her life with that she wants no one to see. Clarke couldn't be a worse, more powerful enemy. She makes Lexa feel a chaos of things that are way beyond any hatred she has ever felt before (Is it hatred, though?
