Daryl and Beth don't so much as begin to love one another but fall into it, like soul mates separated for a millennia finally reunited, and they learn each others stories by reading the marks on their skin.

When 3 hikers in the north discover a massive nazi biological testing facility, they dont know what to think. They begin exploring and discover that everyone was either killed, or worse. They soon discover that fear itself walks the shadowy halls. And as they tread lightly through the instillation looking for a way out. They must make unexpected alliances, sacrifices and risk survival for a way out of the worst place on earth.

It's a zombie apocalypse. The 3 siblings and a few other people they picked up have to try to survive in the wasteland with famine, lack of medicine, and of course, zombies. Why did this happen? Who caused this apocalypse to happen? Pretty soon they learn that the zombies aren't even much of a problem anymore, it is the consequences of the zombies. Lack of food, supplies and poor mental health kill more than bit marks.
