But Buzz's commander, Nebula, finds him a replacement anyway: Princess Mira Nova. Meanwhile, Buzz's nemesis, nefarious Emperor Zurg, plots to steal the Uni-mind, a valuable device that facilitates the little green men's collective thought process; without it, the whole race is useless.

When Woody's arm rips, he ends up on the shelf, missing cowboy camp. He and Mighty Eagle rescue a toy from a yard sale, but are then stolen by a greedy toy collector, who plans to sell them and his collections to a museum in Tokyo. This leads to Buzz and many of Andy's toys to go out on a journey to the city to rescue their friends before it's too late. In the meantime, Woody and Mighty Eagle meet new friends who were in storage for so long and are eventually talked into going to the museum with them. Between Buzz becoming Andy's favorite toy, as well as him being popular among the other toys, Woody becomes jealous. Eventually, his jealousy leads to him, Buzz, Wall-E and Scrat ending up in their destructive neighbor kid's house, Sid. They must find a way out before Andy moves to another house in the coming days. Along the way, they meet new toys who are desperate to escape Sid's house. But, Woody's partner, Braedimus Prime, a good-Sparked Autobot action figure, reassures him it won't come to that. But worse, the arrogant Buzz thinks he's a real spaceman on a mission to return to his planet. When Braedey's family prepare to move out to a new house, Woody, Braedimus, the new doll, and Buzz must escape the clutches of tormentor neighbour Sid Phillips and reunite with their owner before they move out. My second official installment of the Cartoon Universe series.
