Project Divine, a secret experiment started by the United States government to create the worlds first super-powered army, was destroyed long ago. All that remains are ashes and whispered rumors. It's suspected to be nothing but a story until mysterious accidents are turning up all around the world, all linked to children between the ages of thirteen and eighteen.

Barbara Vaz hasn't spoken aloud since she was found as a child. Her silence has been diagnosed as selective mutism. However, she can't remember why she has to stay silent. When she's taken into police custody for an accident she can't remember the answer might be closer than ever.

The Permutation

47 parts Complete Mature

The people of Lancet Falls, Idaho are changing, and it's all because of an otherworldly light that only a few can see, but the changes are affecting everyone. Animals are dying, people are disappearing, and what's with the men in jackets twenty years out of date showing up in the dead of night? A homeless drunk, a twelve year old from the city, a fat extortionist, a high school science teacher, and a reporter are the first to feel its effects. They're able to do things that no human should be able to do, but will it be enough? Will their newfound abilities be enough to save the town from a threat to its very reality?
