I woke up slowly, my head throbbing and every inch of my body cold and stiff. Wait, where was I? The last thing I remembered....

        "Rise and shine, Oh Great One!" A powerful female voice positively dripping with sarcasm and disdain boomed from right behind me. Oh Great One? What was that supposed to mean? I tried to sit up and turn around to get a better look at the speaker, but I found I couldn't move! Not. One. Muscle. Okay, so I could still breathe and all, but I couldn't even manage to open my eyes. It was as though there was some invisible force that surrounded me, cocooning my entire body so tightly that although I could breathe, it was still very difficult. What in the world was going on? My mind searched for a reason why I was.. well... wherever I was.  

"So glad you could join me, Dasha Riverstone." She spat out the name as though the mere sound of it was hateful to her. How did she know my name? Wait.... my mind was starting to clear. I remembered that although my last name was Riverstone, my first name wasn't Dasha - it was Lana! Why did she think my name was Dasha? Suddenly, I felt a spark go off in my mind. Of course! Now I remembered....
