One day, when she was going back from the academy, the car she was riding in had an accident and the car fell into ravine. Luckily, she was not seriously injured and fainted. When she regained her consciousness and looked around, she realized she was alone in a dark forest without any traces of an accident. She found a nearby small village from the forest. What surprised her was the lighting in the villages only use torches and the clothes on the villagers looked strange like in middle ages in Europe. With what she saw, Annabeth thought that she was experiencing what was called a parallel world.
