Viggo is gone. Johann is dead. The Dragon Hunters are being rounded up and shut down. The Riders work on shutting down the Edge, safely relocating their dragons, and saying goodbye to all their friends in the Great Beyond before they move back to Berk. But there's a different kind of hunter in their way. One who's been silent, and patient, for many a moon. This hunter also has a new way of hunting, one that endangers all of the Riders and their dragons - from the inside.


A/N This story takes place between Race to the Edge and How to Train Your Dragon 2, and is part of a combined series between me and T-Night. I have a reading list that will have all the stories in order as they are edited and published.

This is a HTTYD/RTTE story, although you don't need to have watched the show to understand the plot. The characters (for the most part) aren't mine! OLD: This is old as hell, and while I'm still proud of it in some areas this is your warning that consistency is eh, and characters are significantly out of character in some areas (this especially applies to Hiccup around chapters 33 - 40, I'm so sorry). Also, several loose ends are left dangling, so if that's not your cup of tea I don't recommend this.
