The Sex Pistols were only a figment of young Remington Leith's impressionable imagination.
London 1975, the Sex Pistols were formed. At least that's what Remington believed when in reality no one else knew. For years Remington had seen a life like no other but not in the usual sense. As he started the difficult journey of trying to be a rockstar, the story unfolding in his mind paralleled. He was venturing the industry with his brothers, working his ass off to make it, sacrificing the daily luxuries he never had for his dream but under it all, he was a ticking time bomb. Something inside of him grew stronger as he aged and at some point he couldn't hold it in any longer.
Remington Leith held knowledge that no one else did and he knew he had to share it with the world. But knowledge is sometimes a curse so what will happen when he tries to share what is in his head with the world? How will everyone around him and his fans react as he shows more of the so called persona?
In a world unfamiliar with the Sex Pistols, Sid Vicious, Johnny Rotten, and every other detail, how will a kid from Vegas with a dream teach the world?

we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball.
