Eight friends and I just got back from Istanbul. It was the trip of a lifetime! We even saw Can Yaman and the cast of Erkenci Kus. We just wanted to do something fun and write goofy stories inspired by the city. Originally the word limit was 250 words...but that didn't quite work out as planned. This is a different type of Erkenci Kus story. The characters are familiar, but their interaction has changed from the series, and quirky funny things happen. I have read one story where Sanem had special powers and she will have different ones in this version. There is a difference from the other version. I hope this will be a fun filled story. I apologize if any details are similar to any other story. I try hard to write from my imagination only, except of course ideas from the series. I have no affiliation to Erkenci Kus, the cast, or anyone else involved with the series. I am just a fan, only. Please overlook, any mistakes, long drawn out sentences, or misspellings. Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

Is the distance to great for their love to overcome it? May I just say, wow, that is the cheesiest little blurb I've ever written in my whole fucking life, it actually makes me laugh cause I read it in a funny voice that's all lovey dovey, anyway, enjoy, LOL, i can't stop laughing, I just reread it and again I laughed, lol, enjoy x well, here we go. im writing actual books to be published eventually, but i love the wanted and my friend, maggie, got me writing fanfictions for her. they usually are about one hundred pages, but nope, this one is already up to about 370 pages and ive only uploaded some so far, i'll upload more when i get the chance, so probably about once a day. i hope you enjoy reading this as much as i enjoyed writing it and i hope to at least get it really, really, really long before it hits an end.
