16 year old Samantha (Sam) Moore, just wants to be a normal teenager. As she starts her senior year of high school; she is just a shy girl, the girl that nobody knows exists. Her mom is never home and is an abusive alcoholic.
Sam has been self harming sense she was 12 years old when her dad walked out on her. Ever sense she hasn't trusted anyone, with the fear they'll leave her, just like her dad did. She never worried about having friends or dating the hottest high guy in school. Sam has no ambitions or goals, she just wants to get out of high school alive.
Through ups and downs Sam finally meets someone.
