Emily Masters is a middle child, her parents forget about her a lot, from taking care of her older brother in collage and her little sister in middle school, she is left to provide for herself when they travel from home to Arizona to see Jake once every month. They don’t trust her to take care of Lily so they bring her with them, leaving Emily home alone for a week without a car or friends who care about her well-being.
When A burglar forces entree into her home while her parents and little sister is away on their monthly trip she has a three choices, runway, be killed or willingly go with him.
