Chamomile grey Zorlo knows what her pet peeves are. Firstly, she hates being last.

Ashton Abraham's, Chamomile's best friend, loves to remind her that due to her unfortunate last name, she is last for most things. Including but not limited to graduation where he, of course, was first.

Other pet peeves include anything that slow her down. Slow traffic, slow speakers, anything slow isn't really for Chamomile. Always wondering what the next thing is, where to go next, and what to do next works for her since she lives in the big city with Ashton and his older brother Raydon. They all attend school together where soon, Chamomille plans on becoming Dr. chamomile Zorlo PhD, the Zorlo family's very first PhD graduate. The only time Cams blood slows is when Raydon is nearby, another peeve.

Aside from a few peeves, Chamomile's life is on the fast track to perfect. Until one night, everything changes. When unexpected tragedy strikes, Cam finds herself in a constant rotation of media interviews, death threats, and raging emotions. Nightmares haunt her dreams and anxiety now follows her everywhere she goes along side of grief. For once, Chamomile wishes life could slow down, wishes she could take a breath.

Raydon is angry at Chamomile for making the decisions that got them in this position. When he lets his anger fuel his passion he becomes the trigger that ignites Chamomile's rampage.

The problem is when tragedy collides with friendship, family, and the powerful forces of love. and all of Cams emotions come crashing in on her, she has no choice but to swim full speed ahead to race herself out of the waves of despair. But what she finds is that she is way more powerful than she believed and what she discovers is her purpose.
