Its been 8 years since Sophie has defeated the Neverseen and her life has changed in the best ways possible. She and her friends became even closer, Sophie graduated and now was a mentor at Foxfire, and most of all, she was married to her elf-long love - Fitz. Everything was going right in every way possible in Sophie's life and she finally felt normal. But everything changes when the council shows up at her door. She finds out an unsettling truth about the Neverseen which changes her life for years. Sophie does everything in her power to try to fix all her problems including her love with Fitz. Will she prevail? Or will this unsettling truth about the Neverseen change her life forever?

Note: Sophie is 25 while Fitz is 27 in the story
