"Peasants like you will never do anything important." Those words have remained in my heart since my twin and I heard them. We were the low folk, and we were treated like dirt. It didn't bug me that the upper class didn't believe in us, what bothered me was the fact that she thought we were nothing, like flecks of dirt. That was in the past though. We heard that when we were seven and now we are sixteen. It doesn't matter. My sister and I will do something important. We were gonna be royal guards, we don't fit the standards of this place, never have, never will.

I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer! Will I survive in this new world despite knowing that I don't have a place to stay or food to eat? Note: This is more likely in Fantasy. Magic goes bruh broom brr. Also, there is some terms in this stories that is hard to understand like skills, ultimate skill, so read the prologue for that one. Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story
If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra. Sky's story returns later (starting at Back To CoM: Sky's Journey Continues). I will eventually rewrite and edit this story and separate it into 2 separate self-contained books. A fantasy based game set in a world full of monsters, diverse NPCs, unique quests, and an ever evolving story that unfolds based on player choices. Anything is possible with the world of CoM. Even character creation and evolution are influenced by subtle choices made by the Player. The stat system is complex with point values that influence every aspect of the character. There are unique Titles and Accomplishments unlockable in every way imaginable. You know that saying that goes like 'things don't always work out the way you planned'? Well I know that saying very well. It is the only thing that can explain what is happening and why my whole world has been flipped upside down. I'm part of the revolution, I've always been. The king of our little land called Terrian is oppressive and crooked, making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Although he doesn't like using the word 'poor'. People like me are referred to as the 'unfortunate'. As if luck had anything to do with our situation. So how did I get here? How did I go from being the most wanted criminal in Terrian and supporting Jack in his effort to kill the royal family to a guest in that same exact royal family's castle? The only answer I can find is the young prince who, despite his horrible father, gives me hope. Hope for a better life for the unfortunate. Hope for a better ruler.
