Since the events of Tower of the Watchful Eye, being a mage has become tough as the citizen have been hunting down any magic user they can get their hands on. Andy and Cathy, the sarcastic demon living in his head, are exiled to the Szwen Forest to live amongst the Nao.

After two cycles, the landscape of Kalenden has changed as Andy and Cathy soon find out. A mage has murdered the Balendar royal family and the nation is thrown into chaos. Lady Sandra Middleton is leading an envoy of troops west to track down the mage and Andy agrees to assist them as a guide before things get any crazier. It was wishful thinking at best.

Who's behind the murder? And can the young nephew of the King claim the throne and unite Balendar before war breaks out?

BOOK 2 of the Legend of Kairu series and unfortunately the last one as I took a break in 2014 for health reasons. Originally published in 2013 by Mirador. It has since gone out of print so I can share it here again.All Rights Reserved
