Philomina is starting at a new school after moving to a new town and isn't thrilled at the idea. After a lackluster first day, she retreats home to hide in her room. That night in her dreams, something magical happens as she is whisked away to fantastical land ruled by a cruel queen. The creatures there beg for her to free them of the tyrant and soon, Mina is on an adventure that will change her fate.

Originally published in 2013 in the short story anthology "Library of Dreams" by PSG Publishing. It is still available for purchase somewhere...I think.All Rights Reserved

It was that moment her world tumbled down around her. In that moment, the stars fell like rain. She pushed past him through the door. Draco let out a terrible, mangled sound. A sob broke through his teeth. It was the kind of sob that shook your entire body. The kind of sob that made your heart falter. Hot tears stung his eyes as her last words played over and over inside his mind. He hit the wall with his fists. He didn't feel the pain. He hit it again. Again. Again.
