Travels to Sorna, beyond and back Billy/OC Yes this fic is old, yes my writing is vastly different, no I don't plan on editing it. It was a lot of fun doing this and as one of the very few fanfics I ever finished, I'm still proud of it, despite cringing at the writing now. However, I think it's important for writers to not dispose of their old stuff. How will we know how far we've come if we have nothing to compare to? I learned a ton writing this, maybe some of you will pick up something, or even just have some entertainment. I put a lot of work into the second half of this fic (which picks up after Chapter 9), and a lot of research into actual dinosaurs to ensure the most accuracy possible.

Rex Salzar has cured every one of the harmful nanites and he alone remains with his Evo powers. An 'Evo' stands for Exponentially Variegated Organism. It's when "nanites" (which are small as cells but are little machines) randomly activate inside their hosts (human or animal) giving them powerful abilities. But it usually mutates them into monsters that are most times, mindless and destructive. But him being an exception as he retains his sanity and human form only using his ability to turn parts of his body (arms and feet) into various machines in self-defense against other Evos. Making him even more special is that he can cure other Evos. This story takes place after he has cured the world of that plight as he worked along with an organization called Providence. Rex now questions the need for him to be a hero anymore. He knew he was doing the right thing since his deceased parents who died during the first outbreak of nanties would want him to use his powers for good. But he wonders if this may be a good opportunity for him to start living a normal teenage life. Making matters worse he gets put on a seemingly boring mission to follow an advertising company that goes to underdeveloped towns that promises to give the people better lives. Worse yet he gets placed with his long-time partner Kenwyn Jones to go to one of the Caribbean Islands where this is taking place. The two had never really gotten along but he accepts the mission anyway to what at first glance may seem like a vacation to paradise to him. But when the locals start to lock their doors and windows at the sound of an ice cream truck and others who go out are never seen again may be a sign that his job is just not finished. That is if he's up to the task of being an everyday hero ATTENTION- I do not own Rex or any of Man Of Action properties/ past plots mentioned/ characters. That being said hope you enjoy and this story is fandom blind.
