Three months have passed since the end of Hunt. Ellie has managed to infiltrate TESS but every moment she spends there she puts her life in danger. After she completes training she is assigned her partner. There is so much more to him other than his good looks. ;)

Sebastian struggles with family issues and is still heart broken. He told Ellie that he loved her but she never said it back. He always wonders that if she had never read his file would she have said it back.

James is still looking for his mate and struggles to be around home since Ian is so happy since he found his mate Sophie. One day on a run though, James catches the scent of his mate. He tracks her down but realises that he isn't the only one tracking his mate. He has to get to his mate before it's too late to save her.

This is the second book in The Hunt trilogy.
