everything is dead. or rather, about to be. with humans suddenly vanishing from the face of the earth, leaving everything abandoned behind them, dogs of the world are struggling to regain their place in the natural order. packs are formed, religions are made, and hope is scarce. a young black labrador sets out on a journey to find her way in this new world, a world in which everything seems to be dying so quickly. a strange virus has taken hold of many of the animals, dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles. they all can get and pass on this fatal and incurable disease.
