Diego and Johnny have known each other ever since they were children but they due to them growing up and changing they distant each other apart and what Diego never thought to do was to confess his feelings to Johnny, which was a big mistake. 

Johnny suddenly appeared as a transfer at Diego's new school and Diego knew it was him but Johnny didn't know who Diego was. All he did was cling onto an unfamiliar face who went by the name Gyro. The class clown.
