"What's this?" he holds the glass jar. "My memory jar," I shrug. He shakes the container, peering through the glass. "Why do you have it?" it goes unanswered. Finally, I reply, "Just because." But it was a lie. He doesn't know anything. And he'll never know. _____________________________________________ When their paths cross, Blake decides to help Sophia fulfill her goals without knowing the actual reason. In exchange for his help, Sophia has to help him pass his Calculus exam.

He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I drove all the way to my house and when I got there I fell against the cold wall. What had just happened? All I knew is that I wasn't able to think straight. My mind was clouded with memories of him. I shook my head trying to forget everything that was involved with him. But I wasn't able to forget. These thoughts were a part of me now. He was a part of me.
