I'd like to say our story started out like most cliche love stories. A fairy tale beginning, with a handsome prince and a damsel in distress. Or maybe a daring girl, defiant and strong, who meets a feeble but gorgoeus man and they take on the world together.

I'd love to say our story ended like most cliche love stories. A happy ending for all of the partakers in our epic romance. We could have had a romance that trumped The Notebook.

As much as I'd love to say both of these were true, I can't. Because sadly, neither of those scenarios were the case.
