When Haldir of Mirkwood and his brothers Rumil and Orophin are sent to deliver a message to Lothlórien, he expected to return within a mere couple of weeks' time. Yet the plans of the Lady are different and before he can turn around he is trapped in a forest completely different to the one he has grown up in. Adding to his confusion is the young elf Daera (pronounced: DaEra) who is clearly interested in Haldir yet she still has to fight her own demons. And her time to pick sides is running out...
