The Moonlight Blue Pearl

Warning- This story is a mixture of Teen Fiction and Fantasy:

The ocean seems like a regular place. But when you look inside of it, that's where you find the beauty. In the Ocean floor there's a place called Atlantis where many mermaids and mermen roam free without any worries of being caught. They keep their existence hidden from the humanity because they know what may come of it.

One day King Neptune loses one of his crown's pearls. The moonlight blue pearl that allowed the kingdom to glow in the dark so that they can see in the night. In frustration he searches the whole kingdom and the entire Ocean Floor. When he finally realizes that the pearl isn't anywhere to be seen in the ocean he tells his daughter Mai and son Azul to go find it up there on the land.

The young mermaid named Mai and merman Azul had been sent from their kingdom to the land in search of a magical blue pearl. She has been chosen along with her brother Azul because the blue pearl represented them. When they were born her mother noticed how her hair glowed under the moonlight and how her brother's blue eyes lit up. With that noted King Neptune had given them the pearl, but for safety he kept in on his crown along with 7 other pearls.

Up in the land she meets a boy who causes her some distraction from her mission. The young boy 17 years of age begins to develop feelings for Mai.

Luke Evans, a teenager that attends Riverton High and is locally known for his band 'Maniacal Laughter'. His mother is a drunk and his father had left them both at a young age. Luke works as a waiter at 'Seaside Delight' to pay the rent at his house. In where he meets a blue-haired girl named Mai Brooks that causes him to have mixed emotions.
