'Ever since an ominous note had been delivered at the door to his kingdoms castle, there had been a mysterious sickness spreading like wildfire. At first, it had just been like a mere cold. A few sniffles and fevers was all. No reason to worry, right? Wrong. Soon after, people began to turn pale, a grayish sort of pale, as well as nausea and severe body pains. By the next week, they were dead, and a light gray shade. Some people started to call it 'the wither sickness', but Ian refused to call it that. He didn't believe the legends that had made the 'wither' popular, so why would he name an illness after them?'

Gods, supreme beings of immense power, often thought to be all knowing and all powerful. But little do people know, they are often just shadows of what they were portrayed to be. And yes, they do lose their way, quite often, in fact. Caught in a tricky situation between two gods who had been holding a grudge against each other for centuries, Steve has to dive into legends, history and lies in order to find the truth. In a world that the very concepts of right and wrong, good and evil were incredibly blurred, this ordinary Minecrafter faces unknown forces that were at work, and for him, the stakes were higher than he had known in his entire life. The ancient rulers of the world was stirring, and Steve would be caught in between them if they decided to show up. Let's say, he wouldn't fancy meeting them. "Come on now, those so called gods are just superpowered beings. They have fallen, they lose their way, make mistakes, and they aren't necessarily all knowing. So to say, true gods don't even exist in this world." This is a standalone Minecraft short story, with zero connection with the others. I don't own Minecraft and those Minecraftian characters.
