They were supposed to be a legend. A story that parents tell their pups to stop their crying, something that only paranoid elders believed in. Whispers around a campfire, theories passed down from generation to generation. Something to spark hope for the hopeless, something to spark fear for the corrupt. They were not supposed to be real.

The Moonborn. An all female pack of Wolves who had been brought back from the dead by the Moon Herself to enforce peace, balance, love, and justice within the packs.Rumored to be stronger than any creature on Earth, they made fully grown Wolves look like mere puppies. Some said that they had special abilities, able to see visions of the future and ghosts from the past. Nobody believed the stories. At least, not until now.

Liam Devereaux is preparing to take his father's place as Alpha of the NightHide pack. He didn't have time to indulge in some made up stories from rival packs about wolves sent from the Moon. Hell, his pack was on the brink of war. The last thing he needed on his mind was fairytales. He didn't just have the pack to take care of, but his entire family. It wasn't until he saw visions of a silver haired girl that he started to have his doubts.

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
