A Swords Curse

The king orders that the eldest child of every family will be taken at the age of eight, male or female. Tate was the oldest of her siblings, she was taken to the barracks where she struggled to become the best in her group. If she stays in the top five then she will become and soldier in the kings army. She meets someone who believes that she is more than a soldier.
