Who made me believe this was Oikawa Tooru. The promise that we made as kids that we would together become professional setters was just a fatal dream. It was what I wanted to believe. However at the end I had to move after middle school and up in a car accident. At that moment things drastically changed. Jumping only gave me pain. Go fix your knee, but with possibility that you can never use your leg in the same way again or suffer. 2 years I continued volleyball with pain and became the Goddess of Victory. But I want to see him again, the promise I made I will keep it. Different people cope in different ways, and the Makoshima siblings are no exception. One expressed his emotions through violence and found himself the victim of the same violence he gave to others. Another attempts to seal her emotion deep within herself to attain the necessary skills to survive and protect. And, for most of her life, the music of worry was her only familiar for the third. You can't keep running away from the past. Because, in the end, it'll catch up to you, push you down, and, if gruesome enough, eventually kill you. On the flip side, we have Oikawa Tooru. Perfect family, perfect friends, and at the peak of his high school career. But not even the Prince of Aobajosai is without his flaws. Who says you can't inadvertently become an honorary member of your kindergarten bully's family while trying to get petty revenge on the same kindergarten bully? Oikawa Tooru certainly can after all. Do give this story a try. I swear, I tried to make it a refreshing and original take on the OCxHaikyuu!! genre.
