Two little words Virgil holds on the piece of paper. They explain everything and nothing at the same time.
'An eating disorder usually characterized by an unhealthy obsession with losing weight.'
And Virgil feels nothing monumental. No big realization or repulsion to the words. It's just what it is.
Virgil has anorexia. Anorexia nervosa.
(This is a fiction based on the Sander's Sides series from youtuber Thomas Sanders! Ship is polysanders/LAMP, but the main focus isn't on romance. The only characters are the four sides!)

[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Virgil has the next couple years of his life planned out: he'll graduate from high school and study Graphic Design in college. His roommate will be his best friend, Roman. At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. Stuck far away from home in a cabin with his crush. For three. Whole. Days. This is a Sander Sides story about Virgil. The sides can be hurt or even die. They can feel pain and emotions other than what they represent. When a side dies, something happens. It starts with there body instantly disappearing when they die. Soon after their room will start losing color, fading to black and white. Then items in their room will start disappearing until it's left bare. Finally the entire room and door will disappear along with any items left in it. Then everyone's mind will be wiped of any memory of that side ever existing. Do not read if you are easily triggered.
