Countless mistakes Too much sorrow Resulting to endless pain and regrets When exactly did it all start? Was it when I first laid my eyes on that tall figure? Or was it when I was enchanted by those ice blue cold orbs? Hopelessly, following that familiar silhouette. Wanting...needing...to see my own reflection on those eyes. Struggling, persisting, to the point of gritting my own teeth and clenching my own hands, still all of those efforts were fruitless, which caused losing something precious. Please be guided that this is an original story, advance apologies for any plot holes, grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. I'm only an amateur writer and English is not my first language. Any Similarity to different stories is pure chance or coincidental. I thought this story on my own. Thank you. *The cover picture used does not belong to me nor do I claim it. When I was little, my mother used to tell me stories about an ancient world that contained mystical and strange creatures -created by the gods it was supposed to divide the humans and the creatures. Her stories were mostly about brave Guardians that had the obligation of protecting the other world. This world was to be called the Portal World. As I grew up in difficult conditions I dismissed all those ideas out of my head. Tales are for children and nothing of it was true. Or so I thought. Until the day the guy I hated the most saved me from imminent death. *** Deep in my being an unbearable anger scattered itself through my body. I clenched my fists. A violent jerk started building up to my vocal cords. I gritted my teeth to keep it under control but in vain my lips began to move. "My life is not an Illusion!" The small crowd still gathered inside the café went silent as they all turned to see what was happening. I bit my lip in embarrassment. Jack slowly turned around and instantly met my eyes. "You'd be surprised", he stated with a disturbing twinkle in his eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you for stopping at this book. I've put it through the process of editing it and it might take a while but I'll try to get it done as soon as possible.
