Intro to what's happening after Last Sacrifice. They went back to the Academy
"Dimitri where are you? I know your in here." Running up and down, slamming into every room. "Where the hell is he? DIMITRI!" the cabin. I took a deep breath then started running towards the cabin. By time I saw the cabin, Adrian was standing in front of me. How did he get here so fast, oh no, no, no. "why, why would you do this to your self?" He let the magic get to him. "Rose you did this, you broke me. But I should be glad that you caused me to awaken" Out of the corner of my eye I saw a brown duster then I saw Dimitri with his stake out. "Nooo- Dimitri, stop!" Then Dimitri brought down his stake into Adrian's heart. Then any hope of bring him back has just vanished. "Rose are you okay? Rose I need you to answer me! ROSE!" Dimitri said. That snapped my attention back to reality. I just stood there not able to move.

Book One in the My Mate Series - "Elijah," Alexander calls in this terrifying voice. I know it's dangerous but I ignore him, I keep my eyes shut and continue to rock myself back and forth, my hands blocking my ears. I didn't want to look at him, I didn't want to see those black orbs. "Look at me." He demands, his voice depicting his rage. "No," I whisper. "Look at me or I swear, I will do it!" He shouts. I'm not completely sure what 'it' is but I'm sure it has to do with death. Although the poor kid probably wants exactly that. I want that for him right now. It must be a lot less painful than what he's probably going through. Slowly, I reluctantly remove my hands from my ears and pick up my head from my knees, I open my eyes gazing up at him. As soon as I do - I wish I hadn't. "Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. But just as I reach the door, his hand slams it shut I look at the door trying to control my anger. "Never, I'd never let you go" he says, voice slightly deeper and just above a whisper. I growled angrily at him and turn to face him, once again his eyes flash with emotions i dont understand.
