Jack Howard was 14 when his parents kicked him out for a reason unknown. He was taken in by a group of people, unaware of the dangers he would face. He was given a choice - Take it or leave it. He took it. Jack now works as an assassin. After a year in Juvenile Detention Center he's come out and is more than ready to take on any challenges that get thrown at him. However, when his manager gives him an odd request, he starts to suspect something's going on. How will Jack react to his newest victim? And how will his relationship affect his job?

Alex is a fifteen year old boy who had the worst luck in life. He'd witnessed his parents deaths, he was bounced from foster home to foster home, but this was the last time. His torture was their entertainment. His pain was what they thrived on. Then it went way too far, and he ran. There was only one person he trusted, and it was the boy he met at school on his first day there. He barely knew this boy, but when he needed a friend, this sweet, raven haired boy told him the most important word that he hadn't heard in a long time. "You're safe." Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place. Jack was the boy's name, and Jack made Alex feel safe and loved. Disclaimer: Obviously I don't own Jack or Alex, and this story is simply a figment of my imagination. Lexi has to find a way to complete the hardest, most emotional mission of her life whilst keeping the boys out of harm's way. Young love is cruel.
