The Seeds Will Grow

What if a smile to a child changed the world decades later? Each day, children find themselves living in conflict zones. We cannot know how their experiences might shape their lives. Will they grow into ambassadors for peace, or prejudiced and bitter adults intent on settling old scores?

This is a collection of fictionalized stories based on events in which children have found themselves in the midst of war. Many are based on true-life events, and are told not from a political perspective, but rather the human cost of the lost innocence of childhood.
