The beginning of the end

When Mark Stewart and his family are waiting for their plane to arrive they are shocked when people begin to convulse, one after the other and turn into crazed monsters, attacking any living thing they see. "Their skin pale and almost transparent, dark eyes narrow and compact wandering freely in their sockets, black veins protruded more obviously from their necks and wrists but were still obvious along the rest of their body".
