Amaya Vixen would love one day where she doesn't have to worry about Oni attacks, haunted churches, a fucking dragon sleeping in a backyard pool, or bunyips in the damn sewers (Don't ask. Just. Don't.). Just one.

But no. Instead of getting better, her life gets worse. Now, she has the most influential paranormal in the country on her case-Shakur Laghmani. The magical equivalent to the president. Nobody knows what he is, but they know he's unbelievably powerful. And now he wants her to track down a package for him, stolen right from under his nose.

What the hell has she gotten into now?

Hey there folks, I'm Cody Phillips, welcome to New Orleans. N'awlins is known for many wonderful things, our coffee, music and the ability to throw a damn fine party. We're also known as the city most people believe may be one of the most haunted places in the world. Well, let me tell you this, we have more than our fair share. I know because I can see them. But, listen, don't spread that around. Yeah? It's been a closely guarded family secret my whole life. Not even my best friend knows this about me. See, I use my 'gift' in my work as a homicide detective with NOLA's finest boys in blue. Now, I understand why you might call it cheating, and that's fine. But I always catch the bad guy with the victim telling me everything I need to know and give the family involved closer. So it evens out as far as I can tell. Now just as my life is moving slower than a gator with a full belly, the worst happens. I get the call about a homicide that's hit too close to home. It leaves the girl of my dreams coming home to face tragedy. The moment I see her I find myself reminded of the one secret no one ever knew. Ever since I was eight years old I have felt many different things for Emma O'Neal, and those feelings haven't disappeared with time. Problem is now that she's come home; I find myself fighting not only an unknown assailant out for blood, my partner's misguided beliefs but my own need for the enticing beauty I'm duty sworn to protect. Damn, I just hope I'm able to fight the feelings I have for this woman, and stay focused on the case. Otherwise, I might end up losing something far more precious to me than the honor I've worked so hard for: Emma's life.

BOOK ONE IN THE WICCAN SERIES Cyrus Laveau's life had never been perfect, but he always worked with what he was dealt. That included witches, pyromaniacs and human sacrifices. ... Returning to high school after being suspended for a week, Cyrus's goal was to stay under the radar. The opposite happens when on his first day back, his friend goes missing and the only one who saw the culprit was him. But how do you tell your friend's brother and the sheriff that the kidnapper was a two faced shadow creature with glowing purple eyes? As expected he immediately tells his best friend, Christian, who is expectantly skeptical until he sees first hand Cyrus's car come to life. Together the two decide to investigate not only what took their friend but a way to get them back. The situation only grows more dire when more bodies begin to pop up around town with the same symbol carved into their foreheads and the creature's attacks becoming more frequent. Admit the hallucinations, midnight skinny- dipping and breaking and entering, Cyrus discovers parts of himself he wished would have stayed buried. That he is connected to the witches that once helped to create their town over a hundred years ago and has magical powers he never knew about. It was hard enough when everyone looked at him expecting a break down or another car accident, now he had to worry about not hexing someone. The last time he checked, being a witch was not on his schedule.

Lucifer chuckled, hiding his earlier annoyance in a heartbeat. "You've grown so much" he said. "I'm sorry I haven't come to see you sooner, it's very hard to leave a place you've been confined to for eternity, but I've made sure my demons watched over you, you've become quite the Phantom" Phantom. The ghost is here. "What did you call me?" Sal asked. "That's right I nearly forgot, you have no idea who you are, much less what you are, and so you consider yourself to be nothing awaymore than what others tell you to be" said Lucifer. "But don't worry, I'm here to change that, I keep my promises Salome, well sometimes that is" ................ Sal was many things. A weirdo yes. A dealer absolutely. A warrior? Definitely not. But all that changes when the Elder's Court, a combination of gods, angels and demons, asks him to go on a hunt, to find and kill a necromancer whose plans might cause a rip in the fabric of reality. Sal agrees and though he is powerful he needs the help of five Shaded beings from the Other World to help him. Little does he know that this one task has the potential to birth many things. Love leads to loss, loss leads to pain and pain leads to regret. Will he be able to complete his task? Will he die before he gets his chance? What sacrifices would he have to make? And what did it truly mean to be a Phantom?
