      she later resigns to watch over her father 24/7,her boss disagrees at first but Michelle had no choice but to leave,they slowly run out of money,since her father was to sick to work anymore, so Tim offered to help with they're financial situation but Michelle disagrees and decides to put all her money, her father later dies and leaves her and her brother in a tight spot.

So, I did a little research and a lot of observing and I wrote a mostly fictional story about an upper-middle class family in the OC. It explores (it simple terms) what was going on in the economy and what teenagers really want from their parents...
