Everything about them was stark different. He was the small town boy- she was the big town girl. He was the optimist-she was not. He saved lives-she wanted to embrace death as soon as possible. He was strong under pressure-she crumbled under it. He was the happy go lucky guy-she was the overthinking and sensitive girl. Basically they were not meant for each other, right? Wrong. They had a million differences but one major similarity, their fatal flaw. Their love for others was their achilles heel. They had seperate lives and it was fine until then but what happens when these star crossed people meet and fall in love? What happens when they become each others weakness? While he does everything to save their love she thinks it best to let go. Whose fatal flaw is stronger? Is it the guy, will he hold on until she gives in .... Is it the girl, will she make sure they part ways for good.... Will they be able to turn their weakness into their biggest strength?

"Marek, don't do this. Keep your captainship. I'll tell the truth about what happened and we'll both be out of the deal." "But-" "I don't know what your doing, if you think this is going to win you attention or sympathy. Or maybe you are being a noble prat and doing as 'you should'. Plus, I don't mean anything to you. Never have, never will. So please, please, stop acting like I'm special. " "But you are." And then his voice cracked, and I cracked with it. ------------------------ She's sick of his arrogant ways, and the bragging. With her goal being to slap some sense into him, she makes a deal; they act like a couple in every sense of the word and the first one to fall in love? Loses. It's only when she realises he may not be such a terrible man after all that she doubts her ability to win. But what if the one thing she put on the line is the one thing she would die trying to protect? Will she allow a relationship to blossom under pressure from her past? **Disclaimer** The drawing in the cover isn't mine (but it was so pretty I used it anyway). If you know who it belongs to, tell me and I can give them the rightful credit. **Implication of sex and some minor bad language. Do not read unless mature enough.**
