I stand in the middle of my room as Egon watches me closely from the door. My clothes are torn, a good chunk of my shirt gone exposing the healing gash in my stomach while dried blood paints my whole face. "You are not going back out there." "You going to stop me?" I growl. He leans off the door. "If I have to." Narrowing my eyes at him I take a step forward. "Don't make me kill you." He straightens up, "my words exactly." Mira is a thousand year old demon living amongst humans in a town run by demon boss Egon. In exchange for her living expenses she helps him run the town of Synn Gate. Especially when it comes to the strict night curfew for all the humans. The moment its seven o'clock all houses best be locked and all children better be inside. If anyone is out after dark there is little chance they will see the sun the next morning. There are many rules in the town, but the top five are: Don't disrespect Egon, Don't make Mira angry, Obey the curfew, Never tell outsiders about Synn Gate, and Never enter the tunnel. Violation of these rules will lead to death. Trouble within the town has always come from the tunnel, but now the trouble is with a pack of werewolves. Nothing Egon and Mira can't handle, if that's was the only problem. An ancient darkness has come to Synn Gate, staining the small town in an even darker shade of red. A darkness so old, and murderous that no one is safe anymore. Not even Mira.
